ALINA SOKOLENKO

Owner of AVG - Sustainable Development Consulting. In 2010 she graduated from the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" and received the Master's Degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection; in 2010 she was trained on management systems at the British Standards Institute, Manchester (UK). In 2014 she studied at the International Institute of Management, where she was trained in the specialty "Management and Leadership". In 2018 she received an Executive MBA from the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. In 2008 - 2010 Alina Sokolenko worked as the Head of the Basel Convention group at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine. Later she moved to work in the agricultural sector. From 2010 to 2012, she headed the social and environmental business at Mriya Agro Holding, and from 2012 to 2017 held senior positions at Astarta's Agroindustrial Holding. Since 2016, she has started consulting activities in projects of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and other international financial institutions in Ukraine and abroad. Today, Sokolenko Alina is an invited lecturer and mentor of MBA Agro and Strategic Architect at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School on the topic of environmental, social and management sustainability, and is the head of a consulting company.
